The last week or so I have 'forgotten what I was going to say.." way too many times.?

.. and it's giving me horrible anxiety. What could cause this?
Answer:
Forgetting what you were going to say is not uncommon. It happens when you're stressed, preoccupied, overtired, or even for no apparent reason. The fact that you're noticing it and stressing out about it is probably *causing* you to continue to forget.

Try to relax. Remember that it's normal. We're humans not machines (i.e. we're not perfect). However, if you continue to worry you might want to ask some people you see often to take note of your forgetfulness and to tell you if they think it's unusual/abnormal.
