just the veiw everyone has about them i was in one when i was 9. but i dindt no anybeeter and to me it dindt look that much diffrent then a real hospital... i have severe anxity and deppression i was never really thatt bad has anyone had any bad expericnces i mean im 16 now and i really cant remeber it that much but when people talk about it they make me think all they do is sadate u and tie u up and treat everyone like there nuts is that true?

I know what you mean.. I knew a friend of mine that was in one for awhile.. and I visited every week. But you could see those mental patients just.. sitting/laying there, with nothing to do all day, and stay there for sometimes months. They don't get treated very well either, or atleast the one my friend was in, and they get looked down upon even by the workers.. which is really sad. But no they don't drug them and tie them up :P

Yes, they sedate you with a prescription drug. No, they don't tie you up. But, they do have a timeout room that has walls made of rubber (like a jump bounce house) so that you don't hurt yourself. And, they do have some big dudes to take you there when you deserve it.
If your in a mental hospital, the workers don't think you're nuts. They think you have a chemical imbalance and are trying to help you. If you're a patient there, then you think everyone is nuts. Especially the other patients.
After people saw the movie yellow jacket, is when they thought of it this way...in my opinion.
mental hospitals not bad you are right and people are just thinking of the "mental hospitals " that are on TV and thinking that is how they all really are and they are wrong
